攻下本季新高32分的米爾賽普也很為教頭開心，「能從一支很棒的球隊手中取勝感覺很好，很高興能為布丹拿到這一勝，他很開心能卸下重擔。」連馬刺教頭波波維奇（Gregg Popovich）也知道，這場勝利對布丹霍澤有不同意義。
老鷹第三節一度落後9分，米爾賽普包辦全隊單節最後的6分，第四節再連拿11分，已連得17分的驚人演出助隊最終奪勝，他說：「我只想打得積極，試著讓些事情發生。」他認為球隊進攻陷入泥沼時自己該挺身而出，「然後小哈德威也加入，他也做得很好。」
小哈德威在正規賽最後3.3秒投進追平三分球，讓老鷹獲得延長賽勝出機會，全場29分則是平了個人生涯最高得分。
馬刺因腸胃炎缺陣2場的雷納德（Kawhi Leonard）今天歸隊，但正規賽和延長賽最後一擊都沒掌握，全場12投僅3中，不過這場敗仗僅是馬刺19場客場比賽所吞下的第3敗。
